Religion Chapter 3 Test THURSDAY 9/17

5-Oberste will start the novel Dear Mr. Henshaw by Beverly Cleary this week! Each student will receive a copy of the book to use while we read. This novel study will include class discussions, vocabulary, writing, a variety of reading (silent reading, group reading, partner reading, etc), activities, quizzes, and tests. This book will replace the weekly stories that we have been doing in the Reading textbook.

It is a short week, but we will still have our regular Spelling Test and Reading Test on Friday. This week we will begin discussing the Sacraments in Religion and continuing to study nouns in English.

Last week we finished our unit on cells. Everyone seemed to enjoy the EDIBLE CELL COOKIES and it was a great way for us to review for our test! We will be learning about plants in our next unit. We will be working on an in-class plant project over the next week.
